ஆர் கே டி ஸ்டுடியோஸ் – RKD Studios நிறுவனத்தின் சார்பில் தயாரிப்பாளர் R.K துக்கல் மற்றும் பிரசாந்த் வர்மா ஆகியோர் இந்திய வரலாற்றுப் பின்னணியிலான மகாகாளி – MAHAKALI பிரம்மாண்ட படைப்பின் அறிமுக காணொளியை- Glimpse அதிகாரப்பூர்வமாக வெளியிட்டுள்ளனர். இதன் மூலம் ரசிகர்களின் நீண்ட காத்திருப்பும் நிறைவடைந்துள்ளது. பார்வையாளர்களிடையே மிகுந்த ஆர்வத்தையும், எதிர்பார்ப்பையும் தூண்டிய இந்த படத்தின் ஃபர்ஸ்ட் லுக் போஸ்டர் அறிவிப்பை தொடர்ந்து, ரசிகர்கள் அதன் அறிமுக காணொளிக்காக ஆவலுடன் காத்திருந்தனர். சுக்ராச்சாரியாரின் போர் முழக்கம் – SHUKRACHARYA’s WarCry என பெயரிடப்பட்டுள்ள இந்த அறிமுக காணொளியுடன் இந்த படம் எதிர்வரும் 2027 ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜனவரி மாதம் எட்டாம் தேதி முதல் திரையரங்குகளில் வெளியாகும் என்ற அறிவிப்பும் வெளியிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.

The wait is over as the makers of Mahakali, RKD Studios and Prasanth Varma, have officially unveiled the first glimpse of the much-awaited Indian Historical spectacle. Following the announcement that sparked intrigue and curiosity among audiences, fans have been eagerly awaiting the glimpse. Titled #Shukracharya’s WarCry, the glimpse also comes with a release date announcement, with Mahakali set to hit theatres on January 8, 2027.

The glimpse sets the stage for a powerful battle between Dharma and Adharma, as the forces of the divine find themselves locked in a conflict far greater than a mere clash between good and evil. Led by Shukracharya, the formidable guru of the Asuras, the battle hints at a larger war that could determine the fate of an entire world. With its ominous tone, powerful imagery of impending conflict, the glimpse signals that “the end begins,” setting the stage for the epic battle that will unfold in Mahakali.

The highlight of the glimpse is undoubtedly Akshaye Khanna, who appears in a fierce and unrecognisable avatar as Shukracharya. Seen with an intense gaze and commanding screen presence, the actor brings an unmistakable gravitas to the character. Following the massive intrigue generated by his first look, the glimpse offers audiences their first real taste of his portrayal, further amplifying curiosity around the powerful Asura guru and his role in the battle between Dharma and Adharma.

The glimpse also offers a first expansive look into the grand visual world of Mahakali, with striking imagery, elaborate world-building and impressive visual effects coming together to create a larger-than-life cinematic experience. Sriya Reddy makes a powerful appearance, adding another layer of intrigue to the unfolding story with the scale and detailing of the visuals that hint at the ambitious world that the makers have created.

With Hanu-Man establishing the foundation of the PVCU – PURANA VEERA CHITRA UDYAM and demonstrating the filmmaker’s ability to transform Indian Itihasa into a visually spectacular big-screen experience, Mahakali now looks to take that vision forward on an even more ambitious scale. The 2-minute-and-55-second glimpse offers the first window into Prasanth Varma’s larger cinematic vision, hinting at a universe that continues to grow in scale, storytelling and spectacle.
