‘Weapon’ movie producers contribute Rs. 12 Lakhs for Light Man who died in an accident during shoot

Producer M.S. Manzoor has contributed Rs. 12 Lakhs towards the family members of Light Man S. Kumar, who died accidentally during the shoot of ‘Weapon’. Late S. Kumar’s wife Juliet, his mother, and his kids collected the cheque from producer M.S. Manzoor. Executive Producer Mr. Rizwan, FEFSI Head Mr. R.K. Selvamani, Light Union Head Mr. Senthil, Manager Kanthan, and Director Guhan Senniappan along with the weapon team were present during this occasion.

Producer M.S. Manzoor expressing his condolence says, “The unexpected demise of S Kumar has incited pain like losing someone in my family. It was a heart-wrenching situation to see the one, who dedicated his entire life spending day and night for his profession. Nothing can replace the loss incurred by his family members. I wanted to be a little part of adding some relief to the family and hence made a small contribution. S Kumar will be in my prayers forever and I will continue to pray that his soul may rest in peace, and would like to see his family do well with firm hope and will power.”

Weapon features Sathyaraj, and Vasanth Ravi in the lead roles with Rajeev Menon playing a pivotal role. Ghibran is composing music for this film and the First Look posters revealed earlier have gained a good response.
