The centenary celebration of Legendary ‘Nadigamani’, Dr. D.V. Narayanasamy, who introduced M.G.R. Sivaji Ganesan and S.S.R. to Anna Durai, was successfully held at Sir, Patt. Thyagarayar Hall.
The event commenced with the traditional Thamizh Thai Vaazthu and ‘Villu Paattu’ performance by Thirumathi. Bharathi.

K. Veeramani graced the occasion of Guest of Honour with the presence of Vijaya Thayanban, Saidhai Duraisamy, Nalli Kuppuswamy Chetty, Actress Sachu, and others.
T.K.S. Elangovan, the head of Public Relations, DMK, unveiled the portrait of D.V. Narayanasamy.
K. Veeramani released the biography of DVN and G. Viswanathan received the First Copy.
The souvenir was released by Vaagai Chandrashekar, Head of Iyal Isai Nadagam, and first copy was received by M. Nassar, President of South Indian Artiste’s Association. The second copy was received by Vice-President of Nadigar Sangam, Poochi S Murugan.
