THE CELEBRATIONS CONTINUE AS NETFLIX ANNOUNCES ITS TAMIL SLATE FOR 2023
~Netflix expands its Tamil language content offerings by announcing 18 Tamil licensed titles that will launch on the service post their theatrical run~

Mumbai, 16 January, 2023: On the auspicious occasion of Pongal, Netflix announces 18 films as part of its licensed Tamil content for the year 2023. The films will find a home on Netflix after they complete their theatrical run. Fans will be able to experience it in cinemas and re-experience their favourite actors’ films at home.
Netflix dropped the 18 titles on their social media channels and fans couldn’t get enough of the titles that were coming on the service. With films like Beast, Nitham Oru Vaanam, Doctor and the recently launched Gatta Kushti that has also received a lot of love globally, fans are excited to see what this year has to offer.
Sharing details about the upcoming line-up, Monika Shergill, VP – Content, Netflix shares, ““Our audience has a huge appetite for locally authentic and global stories across India and we want to give them more of what they love. Films like Beast, Nitham Oru Vaanam, Doctor and Gatta Kushti were enjoyed and created conversations among our audiences globally and we’re confident that our new line-up of Tamil films will have the same effect.
