Urbanrise Records 600+ Expressions of Interest for Thirumazhisai Residential Project
Chennai, 8thOctober: Urbanrise, one of South India’s leading real estate developers, has received over 600 Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for its upcoming residential project, Codename: The Next Big Thing (TNBT), in Thirumazhisai, Chennai, marking a key milestone in its pre-launch phase.
The latest milestone follows the project’s earlier pre-launch announcement, which reported that over 250 homes had been reserved within seven days of the pre-launch window opening. The response comes amid ongoing infrastructure developments and the evolution of West Chennai as a residential destination.
TNBT is planned to comprise over 1,000 premium 2 and 3 BHK apartments, supported by more than 100 lifestyle amenities. The project’s scale and range of residential configurations are designed to cater to homebuyers seeking housing options in the western suburbs of Chennai.
A key infrastructure development for the region is the scheduled inauguration of the 14.64-km Poonamallee Bypass-Vadapalani stretch of Chennai Metro Phase II on 11 October 2026. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay are expected to participate in the inauguration programme at Poonamallee Bypass Metro Station. The corridor is expected to provide commuters in the western suburbs with an additional public transport connection to Vadapalani and the existing Metro network.
Thirumazhisai’s connectivity to residential and employment hubs, coupled with improving transport infrastructure and a growing range of housing options, is adding to West Chennai’s evolving residential appeal.
The 600+ EOI milestone marks the latest stage in TNBT’s pre-launch journey as Urbanrise progresses towards subsequent project milestones.
