Suzuki Motorcycle India Introduces Hayabusa Special Edition
Refreshes Iconic Flagship Motorcycle with Three New Colour Options and Rider-Focused Enhancements, Reinforcing its“Perfectly Poised” Character
Chennai: Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL), the two-wheeler subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan, today announced the launch of the Hayabusa Special Edition, introducing exclusive styling elements and premium finishing details to its flagship sport motorcycle.Alongside the Special Edition, SMIPL has also refreshed the Hayabusa with three newcolour options and rider-focused electronic refinements, further enhancing the motorcycle’s visual appeal and riding experience.
Offered in exclusive Pearl Vigor Blue, the Hayabusa Special Edition stands apart with special decals and wheel finish, a three-dimensional SUZUKI fuel tank emblem, a Special Edition potting emblem on the fuel tank, anodised muffler-end and heat-guard components, and a single-seat cowl supplied as standard equipment. Together, these exclusive elements elevate the Hayabusa’s ‘Perfectly Poised’character and further enhance its distinctive and iconic presence.
The updated Hayabusa has also been refreshed with three new colour options:
- Candy Daring Red / Glass Sparkle Black
- Metallic Galaxy Gray / Candy Burnt Gold
- Pearl Vigor Blue / Pearl Brilliant White

The latest Hayabusa and Hayabusa Special Edition also receive several rider-focused refinements. A new ELIIY Power lithium-ion batteryis lighter and more compact and delivers more stable voltage under load. The Launch Control System and Power Mode Selectorfeature revised settings, while Smart Cruise Control now remains active during gear shifts, allowing riders to maintain the selected road speed without having to hold the throttle open.
At the heart of the Hayabusa is a 1,340cc, fuel-injected, liquid-cooled, inline four-cylinder DOHC engine that delivers a broad wave of torque for effortless acceleration. Its exhaust note has been tuned using the Exhaust Sound Quality Evaluation Program to deliver a powerful sound at start-up without causing discomfort during regular riding.
A twin-spar aluminium frame and swingarm, adjustable KYB inverted front forks, Bridgestone BATTLAX HYPERSPORT S22 tyres, and Brembo Stylema front brake callipers with twin 320 mm full-floating discs support its performance, handling and stability. The bodywork has undergone extensive wind-tunnel testing to provide wind protection in normal and fully tucked-in riding positions while supporting high-speed performance and stability.
The Hayabusa also features LED lighting and other rider support technologies including the Motion Track Traction Control System, Bi-directional Quick Shift System, Suzuki Easy Start System, Low RPM Assist and Slope Dependent Control System.
The Hayabusa Special Edition and the updated colour variants of Hayabusa are now available across Suzuki Motorcycle India dealerships nationwide. The Hayabusa is priced at ₹18,99,000/-(ex-showroom Delhi), while the Hayabusa Special Edition is priced at ₹19,90,000/-(ex-showroom Delhi). Suzuki Genuine Accessories and Hayabusa riding apparel are also available.
