The Inaugural of Durga Pooja, the event titled, Sharadtsav’ 23 was flagged off by the Hon. Governor, Smt. Thamizhisai Soundarrajan, today, Saturday, 21st October at Kailash Convention Centre, Injambakkam on ECR.
The honourable Governor first offered her prayers to Goddess Durga.
She formally inaugurated the proceedings by lighting the Traditional Lamp and then addressed the gathering…
She began her speech by greeting the guests on the occasion of Navaratri Celebrations.
We are all united by our heritage and culture.
Navaratri reflects Women Empowerment and 9 days are dedicated fully to them!
This tradition is applicable not only to South India but to the entire country.
Navaratri Celebrations stands to unite people who are diversified by geographical and cultural differences.
It was indeed a moment of pride with an empowered women like the Honorable Governor, Smt. Thamizhasai Soundarrajan presiding over the proceedings.
